GCCF Imperial Grand Master Cat Lulu
aka Demelza Lucy Locket
12a51e Shaded Tortie and White
Sire: Celebrity Oberon Dam: Demelza Abras Angelica
Lulu joined the family as a pet as I have wanted to have a longhaired silver coloured cat for some time. After looking at various breeds the decision was made after seeing Lulu's photo online. Lulu can be a little bit shy but has an amazing personality, she loves to play and she enjoys leaping after flying insects when she goes into the garden.
Lulu wasn't bought as a show cat and we thought she would probably be too nervous to cope with a show hall but decided to try her at our local show in the Pedigree Pet classes. She coped really well and won Open First and Best of Colour as well as having a red card day. Fired with enthusiasum after her success we decided to show Lulu again and she won Open first, Best of Colour and Master Cat Certificate each time making her up to Master Cat (pet equivient of Champion) in three straight shows!
Lulu then moved up to the Grand class and won Grand, Best of Colour and had a red card day as well as taking the 'committee's choice' spot prize at her first try. Her next outing was to a joint show where she won two Grands and had two red card days. These successes gained Lulu her Grand Master Cat title.
Lulu has now moved up to the Imperial class and, at her first attempt, won Imperial, Best of Colour, two misc. firsts and was Best of Variety Longhair Pedigree Pet as well as taking a judges spot prize. Lulu's next show was a joint one and she won 2 Imperials, 2 Best of Colours, three misc. firsts and was Best in Show Pedigree Pet for the Colourpoint Society Show. At her next show Lulu won her fourth Imperial Certificate, then finally she won her fifth Certificate making her up to Imperial Grand Mastercat. Lulu is now taking a well earned break before returning to showing.

Lulu's Best of Colour judge for the National Cat Club show:
What a stunning little lady this girl is who just oozes class! The colours of her coat are fabulous and I just loved the way they intermingled with each other. I loved her expression and her beautiful green eyes which gave her a very serene and regal look which just said "look at me" This girl had a wonderful coat which had been prepared to perfection, so soft and clean. Credit to her owner for her show preparation as it was really first class. I was very pleased to award this girl BIC because not only did she look delightful but she also handled extremely well. Many congratulations!
