Imogen & Angharad We fondly remember our first two pygmies, Imogens closest friends, Saffron and Julian.
Pygmy goats are very sociable little people and need the company of their own kind, they cannot be kept as solitary animals. You will also need a herd number from Defra. Contact them for the application form to apply for the CPH (County Parish Holding number), sometimes referred to as your holding number. Once you have that, you then phone Trading Standards (Animal Health Division) and they will issue you your Flock Number - (depending on the office, some give it prior to you getting the goats and some once you have the goats) and they often tell you the Flock number over the phone and follow it up with a letter. You need a CPH number to get a flock number. Pygmies are good-natured, gentle, highly entertaining and endearing pets and very very rewarding to care for. IF YOU WILL BE INTERESTED IN TWO OF OUR FUTURE BABIES PLEASE GET IN TOUCH IN GOOD TIME.
